We utilize state-of-the-art techniques and a collaborative approach that helps to decrease complications and enhance survival. Our surgeons are known for their emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration with medical and radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, interventional gastroenterologists, pathologists, and genetic counselors to create the best treatment plan for each patient. One of the busiest robotic surgical oncology programs in the Southeast including robotic surgery of the liver, pancreas, and stomach
Major liver resection and ablation with use of liver augmentation techniques such as portal vein embolization if needed
Whipple procedure and distal pancreatectomy with use of vascular resection if needed
Total and partial gastrectomy
Cytoreductive surgery (tumor debulking) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy
